Anthony (Tony) Pizzuto, 91, of Ashtabula, passed away July 30 peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.

Anthony owned and operated Kingsville Sohio and Kingsville BP for 23 years retiring in 1995. He had an outgoing spirit and a servant's heart, always going out of his way to help those in need. He was a member of St Joseph Mission and Our Lady of Peace Parish.

Anthony was a devoted family man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing, tending to his garden, and making lasting memories with those he loved most. Whether casting a line, working in the garden, or sharing stories with family, Anthony appreciated every moment and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma : his son, Mark: his brother, Gabriel and his wife Isabel: his sister in law Gloria and her husband Mario and his brother in law Earl.

Anthony is survived by his loving daughter, Sharon (Gregory) Headley; his granddaughters, Josie Headley and Lisa Ross; his grandson, Grant (Kimberly) Headley; and great grandson Zackary Cummins: his sister Anne (Bob) Frisbie: his sister Ginger (Jack) Ogren: his sister in law Rose Nudi and several nieces and nephews He will also be deeply missed by extended family members, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Anthony’s kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered always. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the values he instilled in those who knew and loved him.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday Aug. 5 at 10 A.M. in Mt. Carmel Church with entombment to follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19 St. in Ashtabula. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
