Anthony V. "Punt" Paolillo (84) of Ashtabula died on Saturday afternoon at the Country Club Retirement Center.

Born Jan. 13, 1933 in Bronx N.Y. he was the son of Anthony and Marian (DiMare) Paolillo.

Punt was a graduate of Ashtabula High School class of 1950, He was a Veteran of the United States Army. On June 26, 1957 He married the former Joyce Kendall in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Mr. Paolillo worked for the Penn Central Railroad and retired from The United States Post Office as a letter carrier with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, life member of East Ashtabula Club. He enjoyed golf, the Indians, Browns and Buckeyes, shooting pool, hunting, fishing, pinochle, and tressete.

Survivors include his sons Mark (Kris) Paolillo  , Mike Paolillo , Anthony Paolillo , grandchildren Kristen and Joseph Paolillo , sister MaryGrace (Sam) DiSalvatore , brother John (Linda) Paolillo , golf cart partner John "RAP" Rapose , several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce Paolillo, and step mother Carmel Paolillo

Funeral service will be on Tuesday At 11:30 in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11:30 at the funeral home.
