Anne Marie Horvath (94) passed from this life on December 4, 2019. Anne was born to parents George and Mary (Gattorn) Sholtis on March 26, 1925 in Ashtabula, Ohio. She graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1942. She received her Registered Nurse license after graduating from St. Alexis School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked as a nurse for 43 years before retiring from the Ashtabula General Hospital. Most of her years working as a nurse were in the emergency room. She liked to travel and visited China, Russia, Eastern Europe, Spain, and Italy. Anne and her husband, Henry, traveled across the United States and Canada on numerous occasions.  Anne greatly enjoyed her family and family celebrations. Anne especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anne is preceded in her death by her mother and father; a brother, Joseph (Jack) Sholtis; and her loving husband, Henry W. Horvath Sr. Anne is survived by her four sons, Henry Jr. (Karen) Horvath, Bart Horvath, and Gary Horvath, all of Ashtabula; and Brett (Roberta) Horvath of Geneva. Also surviving are her grandchildren Henry III, Andrew, Julie, and Robert, and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Dec. 11 at Noon (Friends are asked to go directly to the church) in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
