Wayne William Baker73, of Ashtabula passed away on January 23, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his loved ones.
Wayne was born in Ashtabula to Robert Baker and Ruth Higley on July 27, 1944. He worked at Jerry Sinkler Ford and Elkem Metals where he was known as “Bubba by his coworkers.”
Wayne married the love of his life Patricia Faulkerson on December 13, 1965. He loved watching wrestling, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wayne is survived by his wife Patricia; sons: Wayne Jr., Clarence, Larry, (Amanda), Jamie, and Lee (David) Baker; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and brother Lee (Donna) Baker.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, daughter Heather Christine, mother and father-in-law Bud and Gertrude Faulkerson, as well as and sister Selma Chalker, Joyce Hamilton, and Brenda Murphy. In addition the family would like to recognize those that have passed from Wayne’s extended family that he shared a special bond with including Larry, Butch Richard, Diane, and William Faulkerson, Gertrude McLemore, Eleonore Ketron, and James Noble.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. with a service immediately following on Saturday January 27, 2018 at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 West 19th St., Ashtabula.
