Ronald Lee Limback, 88, passed away peacefully on June 21st at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake after a long illness.  He was born December 11, 1928 in Ashtabula to the late Arthur and Leah (Tunte) Limback.  He grew up in Ashtabula and Jefferson and was a 1947 graduate of Jefferson High School.  He was a resident of Bedford Hts. for over 40 years.

He spent his entire career in manufacturing, working at Ward Products in Ashtabula and the Tenna Corporation in Cleveland before purchasing the Gray Wire Specialty Company which he owned and operated until his retirement.  An avid golfer, he played at many premier golf courses and attended many premier tournaments but was happiest playing with his buddies in the Bedford Heights Seniors Golf League and looked forward to their yearly South Carolina golf trip.  He played with them for more than 30 years until ill health forced him to hang up his clubs in 2015.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Candy (Ferritto) Limback, his brother Jack Limback (Violet Hakala), and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Deborah Limback of Stafford, VA; Michael Limback of Overland Park, KS; and Jody Siegel (fiancé, Eric Chandler) of Indianapolis, IN; his great-grandchildren Courtney Stevens of Stafford, Nicholas and Samantha Limback of Overland Park, and Gus Siegel of Indianapolis; a cousin Edward Limbach of Aurora, OH, an aunt Joan Tunte, aged 104, of Jupiter, FL, and nephews, James, Timothy and Francis McCarthy and their families.  He is also survived by his former daughter-in-law, Carol Bollman Luff and her husband Dick of North Ridgeville OH who were his care-givers and with whom he made his home for the past year.

The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Western Reserve, the Ames Family Hospice House, and, especially, his in-home hospice care team – Leanne, Sam, Kristie, Diane, Brenda, Jeff and Dr. Florin – for their kind and compassionate care.

On July 15th, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th St. in Ashtabula where friends may call one hour before the service.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
