Ashtabula - Bob Orlando, age 81, went to be with the Lord surrounded by hisloving family, on Friday evening at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.  He was

born February 13, 1936 in Ashtabula, the son of Anthony and Rose Orlando.  Bob married Shirley Paulchel on March 2, 1954.  They met in kindergarten, September

1942 and were married for 63 years.

Bob owned and operated St. Angelo's Lanes for over fifty years. He especially enjoyed working with the youth, senior leagues and was inducted into the

Ashtabula County Bowling Hall of Fame.  His favorite activity was spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Shirley, four children, Jeff and his wife Mary of Tempe, AZ, Brad and his wife Sandy,  Robert Jr. of Ashtabula, Gia Burnett and her husband Andrew of The Woodlands, TX, four precious grandchildren, Brandy of Oxford, MS, Jennifer of Denver, CO, Cali of Ashtabula, OH, Jason Burnett of The Woodlands, TX, and four brothers, Sam of Avon Lake, Ronald, Joseph, and Terry, all of Ashtabula. 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Rose, his son Jaime, and his siblings Leo, Anthony and Norma. 

Calling hours will be held at Guerriero Funeral Home on Monday, September 4 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  At Bob's request, the memorial service will

be a private ceremony with his family.  Thank you for honoring his request.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to Saint John School or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of his son Jaime Orlando.
