Josie Lynnette (Sweeney) Vincenzo

Josie Lynnette Vincenzo (66) of Ashtabula died at home on Nov. 2, 2017

Born Feb 27, 1951 in War, West Virginia she is the daughter of James and Betty (Trump) Sweeney.

She was co owner with her husband of Miracle Ear of Ashtabula , and also owned her own cleaning business Lynn’s Cleaning Service. Josie enjoyed gardening , flowers, nature, and loved to watch Humming Birds.  Her character was defined by the love she had for all people. She was a mother to all who had the honor of knowing her. Her ability to give advice with a loving heart and brutal honesty can be matched by no other. It is safe to say when you walked in her home you were greeted with a hug and sat at the table where pasta and desert would be laid down in front of you. Never to judge another but always to love all was her motto. Her loving marriage is one that should be a testament of what true love is all about. Her passing is one that will be felt by many in the community due to her great love of all those she was in contact with.

Survivors include her husband Joseph Vincenzo of Ashtabula , daughters  Sheila Ice ,  Tina ( Damien Hunt) Vincenzo , step son Joseph Vincenzo , grandchildren Christina Ice, Matthew Ice , Justin ( Jasmine) Ice  ,Nickolas Vincenzo , Anthony Vincenzo Hunt , great grandchildren Jayden Cooper , Journey Ice , sister Kimberly Willes. Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents , and brothers Don Sweeney , Beryl Sweeney , Eddie Sweeney .

Funeral service will be on Monday Nov. 6 at 11:00 A.M. in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula , with Father Raymond Thomas officiating entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
