Amadeo H. Cusman

Amadeo Henry Cusman (94) of Ashtabula went to be with the Lord on Feb. 11, 2017.

Born March 9, 1922 in Ashtabula he was the son of Robert and Clotida (Novelli) Cusman.

Amadeo was a loving husband to Louise for 62 years. A great dad and grandfather. Amadeo graduated from Ashtabula High School Class of 1940 and was a veteran of the United States Merchant Marines serving during WWII. He married the former Louise Baron on Nov. 8, 1947 at St. Joseph Church in Ashtabula Ohio.

He worked in the automotive industry as a body repair man. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf, tennis, and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians.

Survivors include his daughter Barbara Huffman of Columbus, sons David Cusman of Ashtabula, James Cusman of Ashtabula, Gary (Barbara) of Ashtabula, Thomas (Debbie) Cusman of Parma Hts., grandchildren Tony (Meredith) Cusman, Ryan, Robert, Abby and Dominic Cusman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Louise Cusman, infant daughter Susan Marie Cusman, brother Clarence Cusman, sisters Adeline Beckman, Mary Cusman, Eleanor Leeman, and an infant brother.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday Feb. 15 at Noon in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula with Deacon Richard Johnson from Our Lady of Peace Parish officiating,  burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
